PERONAL TRAINING PROGRAM SUMMARIES

JUMP START- Nutrition & Personal Training Package

Jump start your fitness journey with this special personal training package combining nutrition and personal training. Session one is especially important; it focuses on goal setting and nutrition. Sit down with a trainer and map out a plan based on your goals and lifestyle. Talk one on one about nutrition. The following sessions you will meet with a personal trainer for regular workouts that are custom to your personal fitness needs. In your last session you will check back in on nutrition and goals.   • 1 our nutrition consultation and goal setting 
  • 5 30-minute personal training session  
  • 30-minute follow up

PERSONAL TRAINING

For Members and Non-members - 30 or 60 minutes

Our personal trainers will help you reach your fitness and wellness goals through education, support and motivation. Our trainers hold the highest level of training, certification and experience. 
We work with children, teens and adults in the following areas: increase overall fitness, weight loss, osteoporosis prevention, post-injury rehabilitation, pre-surgery strengthening, athletic conditioning, increased flexibility and balance and prevention or rehabilitation of back pain.

Semi-Private Training

Semi-private Training sessions offer personalized programing in groups of two or three. These "groups" are perfect for spouses, siblings or friends.

VIRTUAL PERSONAL TRAINING

For Members and Non-members - 30 or 60 minutes

Get trained from the comfort of your own home. With this online program, one of our certified trainers will come to you...virtually! Use your laptop, tablet, or phone to connect to your sessions via the Zoom platform. Virtual personal training offers the flexibility to train whenever and wherever, and can be tailored to the equipment available to you - No excuses!

VERTIMAX INDIVIDUAL OR TEAM TRAINING

What do the NBA, NFL, Division 1 college athletics and the WSY all have in common?  The Vertimax! The VertiMax has become the "world's leading athletic training system designed for developing speed, strength and explosive power." Sign up individually or as a small team to train on the Vertimax with one of our certified personal trainers. NUTRITION CONSULT

During your one-hour nutrition consultation, you will meet with our Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.  Together, you will identify wellness goals and map out concrete strategies to achieve these goals through dietary change.  The session will include an assessment of current dietary habits, goal setting, meal planning assistance, and individually tailored recommendations.

PRESCRIBE THE Y

Participants must be referred by a healthcare provider. This is a 12-week wellness program to help you achieve your wellness goals. Individuals must be referred by a health provider. Your physical needs, interests and wellness goals will be evaluated to develop a program that is right for you by a qualified Y Wellness Coach. During the 12 weeks, the coach will monitor your attendance and fitness gains by meeting with you periodically (weeks 1, 6 and 12). Your wellness achievements will be shared with you and, with permission, your health care provider. The cost of the program includes access to the Y for the duration and will qualify for insurance wellness benefits. For more information contact michelleg@wsymca.org.
