Erica Broomfield

Personal Trainer

Erica's athletic background started at the young age of 7, when she began horseback riding and riding competitions. Much of her training focused on technique and improving a strong yet mobile position that was effective for dynamic movement.

Erica carries this philosophy with her today. She teaches her clients movement using safe, strong form that maximizes efficiency. If you are going to do it, she’ll help you maximize your results!

Being a personal trainer is a natural extension of Erica's personality; She cares about helping people and making the experience as enjoyable as possible. She is a results-driven trainer and enjoy the challenge of finding the motivation that will inspire you to give it your all! Everybody has a busy and stressful life - but Erica believes making time for your health should be important. As a client, improving your overall health and fitness is Erica's top priority.

Seamus Bruno

Personal Trainer

Seamus is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. He is a former three-sport varsity athlete at Newton North High School, and he has years of experience as a youth sports coach. Seamus has a true passion for fitness and exercise. He is eager to support you with proper strength and conditioning that will allow you to be as physically fit as possible while remaining injury-free.

Michelle Gagne-Borque

Personal Trainer

Michelle is a NASM-certified Personal Trainer, and an ACE-certified Group Fitness Instructor. She began her fitness career as a yoga instructor, and, after becoming a mother, obtained a specialization in pre- and post-natal yoga. 

Michelle creates individualized programs for all of her clients that align with their lifestyle and goals, and she specializes in supporting women through motherhood.

Her positive attitude inspires others to tackle tough challenges for great rewards!

Alyssa Helliwell

Personal Trainer

Fitness has been Alyssa’s passion and career for over 20 years. Her approach provides clients with a large variety of progressive, intelligent and thoughtful exercises that challenge both body and mind. Alyssa has extensive coach’s training for triathlons, tennis and golf, and she has studied Burdenko method for land and water rehab and conditioning. When not expressing her creativity on the gym floor, Alyssa enjoys painting, ceramics, gardening, reading and participating in the occasional triathlon.

Ivan Kostadinov

Personal Trainer

Ivan is a USATF Certified Track & Field coach, NASM PT Certification and is currently working to complete his ACSM PT Certification. He has worked with clients of various ages and fitness levels, from children to seniors to people starting from scratch after major medical procedures.

He has been training clients & coaching athletes for 10 years (with some Track & Field athletes even receiving full scholarships to a Division 1 College!).

"My approach to Fitness Training is based on balance, consistency & knowledge. My goal is to coach you and educate you so that you need me less and less over time for telling you 'what to do', and more as a guide leading you to what more you can do. No matter what your situation, with the right guidance and support, you can achieve your goals no matter what they may be."

Mike Kozul

Personal Trainer

Certified Personal Trainer - American College of Sports Medicine (2007 - Present)

Mike is a Sport & Fitness enthusiast. He has over 13 years of Personal Training experience, including the technical knowledge and assessment skills to adapt to most any client's needs, both practical and functional, from the proverbial "couch potato" to the more athletically inclined. He believes there is an athlete inside each and every client! Mike is a very strong believer in Continuing Education, always striving to be on the cutting edge of the latest in "best practices" taking from and communicating with some of the brightest minds in the Fitness Industry to benefit his clients. Mike is also a full time High School Special Education/Mathematics Teacher with Quincy Public Schools.

Allison Lee

Personal Trainer

Allison is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, with additional certifications in TRX (Total Body Resistance Exercise) and Russian Kettlebell Challenge. She uses multiple modalities, body weight movements, and flexibility training to encourage the most effective results for clients. In addition to one-on-one personal training, Allison teaches Obstacle Course Race groups, TRX (all levels), Metabolic Conditioning and Kettlebell workshops and classes. When she is not working she enjoys hiking with her family, boxing and cooking!


Nicholas Livoti

Personal Trainer

Nicholas is an ISSA-Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Specialist with over five years of experience working with diverse clientele in Manhattan and Boston. He has experience working with a wide age range and enjoys helping both older adults and teenage members accomplish individual goals. He can customize workout and food plans - from weight gains and loss, to positive living and peak athletic performance. Nicholas believes that a combination of body weight and resistance, core balance and cardio-intense programming, coupled with healthy nutritional choices, is the most efficient method to meeting most goals. However, he knows everyone is unique, and he is excited and committed to working with you to create a custom program that fits your individual needs.

Nicholas competes in NPC Physique shows in his free time, and last fall he placed in New England’s nationally-ranked competition.

Lori Mabie

Personal Trainer

Lori is a certified trainer with a diploma from the National Personal Training Institute. She is an avid distance runner and believes health and wellness is the key to a lifetime of happiness. Lori specializes in corrective exercise and functional mobility, and she loves supporting people of all ages with accomplishing their fitness goals.

Raman Magay

Personal Trainer

Raman Magay is certified and experienced in many health and fitness modalities. She is a group exercise instructor, a personal trainer, and a Board Certified Structural Integration practitioner (aka rolfing – a type of deep-tissue bodywork). She is a registered yoga teacher RYT200 and a Holistic Health Coach.  

Raman’s mission is to provide the tools and support needed for you to create a lifestyle that gives you access to more energy and empowerment – one that will take your health and fitness to a new level!

Julia Malloy

Personal Trainer

Julia is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She is dedicated to working one-on-one with clients, creating training plans tailored to your specific goals. As a competitive rower, Julia has experience training in a wide array of modalities. She looks forward to bringing variety to your training sessions! 

Anthony Moscatelli

Personal Trainer

Anthony likes to work with all age groups and strives to get you to where you want to be in your fitness journey. He likes to have fun during the workouts, but also encourages you to push past your limits so you can get the results that you want. Anthony is here for you with anything that you need!

Jenni Plym

Personal Trainer

Train with Jenni and you'll get diverse, dynamic workouts that challenge you physically, while focusing on safe alignment and proper technique. Your sessions may be held on the gym floor, outdoors on the track or even at the pool!  

Jenni's background is in sports, dance, yoga and massage therapy. If you're a competitive athlete, new to exercise or somewhere in-between wanting to improve your overall wellness, Jenni can design sessions that meet your goals and keep you interested.

Alex Trimble

Personal Trainer

Alex has been a trainer at the Y for over 10 years, working with people of all ages and all varieties of health concerns. A fitness and sports enthusiast since an early age, Alex grew up working out at the West Suburban YMCA and enjoys passing on what he's learned to the younger generation. He also understands the limitations that pain and dysfunction can create, especially as we get older, and the critical role movement (even very gentle movement) plays in helping alleviate pain and restore function. Whether you're looking for a push in the gym, or just looking to stay active and physically engaged, Alex can help you meet your needs, in a fun and safe way.
