Intro to Strength Training

New to the fitness center or feel intimidated by the machines? This small group training class is perfect for beginners who want to build confidence and learn the basics.  

Learn To Lift

Church St Y.

Squat rack confidence for beginners. This small group training class is designed for beginners who want to learn how to lift the bar with proper form and confidence. 

Strength Training for Women

Church St Y.

helps women increase strength and develop proper form for foundational exercises like deadlifts, chest presses, squats, and lunges using dumbbells and resistance bands—all in a supportive small group setting.

Women and Weights

Wells Ave Y.

A research-based program designed to address the unique hormonal challenges faced by women, focusing on the prevention of osteoporosis, mitigation of weight gain and muscle loss, as well as stress and sleep management.

Dad-Strong Bootcamp

Church St Y. 

This class combines functional strength training, core work, and conditioning circuits designed for men who want to move better, feel stronger, and sweat with purpose.

Functional Fitness

This progressive program will improve your endurance, muscular strength, mobility and balance.

Kettlebell Foundations

Church St Y.

Designed to teach proper form and technique for essential kettlebell movements like swings, squats, presses, and more.

Ride & Run

Wells Ave Y

This program will start with a cycling session on the indoor bikes, then transition straight to the treadmills for a run or walk. This “brick workout” style is a staple for triathletes, but this class is tailored for all levels.  

Healthy Back and Shoulders

Experiencing discomfort in your back, neck, or shoulders? This small group training takes a whole-body approach to improving movement and reducing pain. You’ll safely build strength in your upper back, shoulders, and core while improving mobility in the spine and surrounding joints.

Belly Dancing

Come shimmy, shake, and have fun while learning the basics of belly dancing!

A physical activity and well-being program designed to help adult cancer survivors achieve their holistic health goals. The program is FREE for survivors and their family members.

Jump Start Package

Offered at Church St and Wells Ave. 

Jump start your fitness journey with this special package combining nutrition and personal training. 

Nutrition Consult

Church St Y.

Meet with our Registered Dietitian Nutritionist during your one-hour consultation. The session will include an assessment of current dietary habits, goal setting, meal planning assistance, and individually tailored recommendations.

Prescribe the Y

Church St Y and Wells Ave Y.

Participants must be referred by a healthcare provider. This is a 12-week wellness program to help you achieve your wellness goals.

Youth Group Strength Training

From the ground up. Learn the fundamentals of essential exercises with a Certified Personal Trainer.

Teen Strength Training Basics

Small group class will include correct form and technique for basic strength training exercises including squats, bench press, and dumbbell rows.
