We are thrilled to receive a Boston Marathon invitational bib from the City of Newton for one runner to train for the 2022 Boston Marathon while raising funds for the West Suburban YMCA. 

We’re thrilled to announce that Charlie Schmidt will be running the 127th Boston Marathon on behalf of the West Suburban YMCA. Charlie was inspired by our runner last spring and expressed his interest then. Charlie attended and worked at the Y’s resident Camp Frank A. Day (CFAD) for 9 years, and now serves as the co-chair of our CFAD Capital Campaign Committee. It felt like the stars were aligned when we received our bib from the City and were able to say yes!

The West Suburban YMCA is excited to partner with the Centre Street Food Pantry for our 2023 Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service Event! We will be collecting and assembling food for the Centre Street Food Pantry Kids Club!

ASSEMBLE: Swing by the Wells Ave YMCA on Monday, January 16 from 10AM-12PM to assemble the Kids Club Bags!

Each month the Centre Street Food Pantry provides a Kids Club bag to over 600 families with children – that’s more than 13,000 Kids Club bags during the past two years! Only with your support, can we consistently provide local kids with the food they need to thrive.
