Dear West Suburban YMCA Members and Guests:
On Saturday, February 18th our Y will host the Snow Bowl Swim Meet.
Please note the following operational changes and instructions for our Blue Waves swimmers:
- ALL Saturday swim lessons will run as scheduled.
- The Big Pool will close at 2pm.
- Warm-up for the meet will begin at 2pm.
- Approximate meet start time is at 2:45pm.
- Swimmers will be housed in Studio A (on the first floor next to the lobby) for the duration of the meet. This room will be available at 1pm.
- A bullpen will be set up in the basement level for swimmers to go from Studio A to the pool for their swim events by YMCA staff and volunteers.
- Swimmers should remain in Studio A when they are not swimming.
- Spectator seating will be available on the Big Pool deck (beginning at 2pm) and on the Pool Spectator Gallery.
- The Cardio Deck will remain open for cardio use only for our members. Spectator seating is not allowed on the Cardio Deck.
- Parking is available off-site at One Newton Place. To receive FREE validated parking, please present the parking coupon and your parking ticket to the garage security staff by 3pm.
