Physical Fitness Effective for Your Mental Health

Carrie Harper with wrote an interesting article about a 2023 study review by The University of South Australia, which linked physical fitness practices to mental wellness. The review encompassed 1,039 studies with over 128,000 particpants.

The article (and study) shares that exercise has a significant impact on mental health issues and disorders, inlcuding anxiety and depression. The overall data shows that physical exercise may be 1.5 times more effective than traditional counseling or pharmaceutical intervention!
