New cardio area overlooking the pool

After only a few days, we have jumped into phase one of our renovation project with both feet! 

As you can see from the pictures above, we are in the demolition phase of the new Preschool and “Kids Corner” (formally known as Childwatch).  The construction wall you see has been built to protect people and the lobby from the work being done on the other side.

In addition to the Preschool and Kids Corner, we have also begun work on the new Cardio Area which will replace the pool observation deck.  The number one question I have received about this area is, “Will it have air conditioning?”  The answer is “YES!”  We are adding a new HVAC unit that will keep this space the ideal temperature for working out.

Looking at the picture taken today (above right), you can see the beginning of the top portion of the wall being constructed.  Under that soffit will be a glass wall similar to the glass overlooking the pool now.

Remember, this portion of the renovation will take about 5 more weeks.
