Coming Soon - Building Renovations

We are about to embark on a building renovation that will:

• Create a much improved Preschool space in what is now the large meeting area

• Create a much bigger and improved “Kids Corner” (formally known as Childwatch) on the first floor that will be easier to access

• Create a new Group Exercise Studio on the first floor in what is now Preschool 

• Add over 1,000 square feet of new Wellness space for our treadmills, bikes, cross-trainers, etc.  This will allow us to add additional elements to our exercise offerings

• Add two new bathrooms on the first floor

• Create a new office space for our Wellness staff directly off of the Wellness Center

• Create a much more inviting and comfortable space for members to sit in the lobby

• Connect program spaces up to one another by using glass to share the energy and excitement from the moment you walk in

• Refresh the lobby with new flooring, ceiling repairs, paint and lighting

Construction will begin soon and occur in two phases

Phase 1 will take about 5 weeks and will:

• Block off the back section of the building.  Members will not be impacted by this except for the loss of the 1st floor bathroom

• Renovate the underutilized large meeting area in the back into the new Preschool and “Kids Corner” (formally Childwatch)

• Convert the existing Pool Observation area into the new Wellness space for our treadmills, bikes, cross-trainers, etc.

Phase 2 will take about 5 weeks and will:

• Close the lobby.  Members will enter and exit through the side entrance inside the glass stairwell on the basement level

• Expand Welcome Center seating area, upgrade lobby walls, floor and ceiling to create a welcoming, bright, comfortable and accessible space

• Renovate existing preschool room into a modern, bright and effective group exercise studio for all class types

• Create two new bathrooms easily accessible to all members right off the main lobby

• Create the new Wellness office
