Camp Pikati is a hit!

"I wanted to send a quick note of thanks and encouragement to the staff at Camp Pikati. My kids are in their 3rd week of camp this summer, and they couldn’t be happier to be back. After such a challenging spring for everyone, this is just what they needed." -Camp Pikati parent

"My son has had an absolute ball at Camp Pikati these last two weeks - thanks so much!" -Camp Pikati parent

It is a few weeks into summer vacation and our campers are having a blast! Campers are having fun with active, outdoor activities like archery, kickball, and relay races, as well as arts and crafts and swimming! Camp Pikati campers can also take advantage of the on-site Summer Eats program, offering free tasty and nutritious lunches and snacks to any child or teen age 18 or under.

Camp Pikati continues to follow all CDC, state, and local guidelines to ensure that everyone stays safe while having fun at the same time.

Day Camp is a GO!

The West Suburban YMCA is excited to offer kids a fun, safe, and engaging day camp experience this summer. Kids need camp more than ever before this summer. They need time to play and explore outdoors, try new things, and connect with their friends - in a safe and welcoming environment.

While camp will look and feel a bit different this summer, we are committed to ensuring that our staff will create the same memorable experience for campers this summer. We are following all CDC, state, and local guidelines for operating safe and healthy summer camps at YMCA Camp Pikati and YMCA Camp Chickami.

Registration has reopened, but campers may be placed on a waitlist as our staff determine camper-counselor groups and ratios. We thank you for your patience as we make this summer work for as many families as possible!

Camp Pikati welcomes kids between the ages of 3-15 years - with a half day option for our youngest campers (ages 3 & 4). Camper groups are determined by age.
