Melissa runs the Boston Marathon

We’re thrilled to announce that Melissa Starr will be running the 128th Boston Marathon on behalf of the West Suburban YMCA.

Melissa believes running 26.2 miles is nothing compared to the tireless efforts the staff, coaches and volunteers put in on a daily basis at the Y. Melissa has had the opportunity to coach YBA for several seasons. She appreciates how the Y welcomes community members of all ages and abilities, and that it is a place where everyone can feel success and belonging. Melissa has committed to raising $7,500 for our Annual Fund to ensure that the West Suburban YMCA will continue to develop amazing programs, like YBA, that provide an opportunity for all kids to find joy and connection.
