Pickleball
Get hooked on this up-and-coming sport
Pickleball is a sport played with wooden paddles and a small, plastic baseball similar to a Wiffle Ball. It's a cross between ping-pong and tennis - played on a badminton court with the net placed lower to the ground (approx. 34 inches). Pickleball can be played as a singles or doubles match. At our Y, we do drop in open play, where people typically play doubles matches. We have courts designated for beginners, intermediate, and more advanced players. We supply balls and some paddles. We supply some balls and paddles. It is recommended that you please bring your own.
