Current YMCA Health & Safety Policies in Effect Through May 28

On May 17th, Governor Baker announced that the state of Massachusetts will adopt the CDC's new mask and social distancing guidance for fully vaccinated individuals, and will lift it's mandate and restrictions starting on May 29th.

It is important to us that we fully educate and communicate with all staff and members before making any changes to policies and operations that will affect the health and safety of all people who come to the West Suburban YMCA.

Our current policies will remain in effect through at least May 28th, including our policy that face masks be worn inside the Y at all times for all individuals, except when in the pool.

Any new or modified policies and procedures at our Y will be shared with our community the week of May 24th. 

Since the start of the pandemic, the Y has been thoughtful and intentional about implementing protocols that keep our vast populations of members and staff safe.

Thank you for your patience as we examine Governor Baker's new order and CDC guidance and determine how it will impact our Y. We will release a detailed communication next week with information regarding any updated policies and procedures at our Y. Stay tuned!
