Operations Update: Business Capacity Increased to 40 Percent per State Guidelines

Feb 08, 2021

Governor Baker's temporary limit on gatherings and business capacity, which went into effect on December 26, 2020, has been updated.

The temporary 25% business capacity limits expired on February 8, 2021. New business capacity has increased to 40% for most sectors.

What does this mean for the Y?

We will continue to monitor capacity in our facility, as we have done since our reopening. As with the previous 25 percent capacity limit, we do not anticipate the 40 percent capacity limitation to significantly impact our operations, given that our facility is 70,000 square feet.

Please continue to check our website for operations updates.
