Give to the Y

Annual Fund

Every dollar donated to the West Suburban YMCA has a lasting impact. We passionately focus on strengthening our community—bridging gaps of income, race, religion, age, gender and more.

Every day, we support kids, adults of all ages and families with programs that protect, teach, connect, heal, nourish and encourage. It’s how we help our community and the “us” who live, work and play here find the power of our full potential.

US means ... we can’t do it alone.

In 2017, thanks to the generous support of our donors:

  • Over $188,000 was awarded in Financial Aid for 928 membership households, including 103 seniors and 83 families.
  • $67,000 supported 52 children in our Preschool and Out-of-School Time programs, including their transportation to arrive safely.
  • $175,000 in “camperships” for 165 children to attend Camp Pikati, Camp Chickami & Camp Frank A. Day. Click here for Camp Giving Opportunities.
  • $11,000 in aid was allocated to 92 swimmers.
  • $4,600 in donations allowed us to offer a reduced rate for our Adaptive Sports programs.
  • 18 families received a three month membership as part of our free LIVESTRONG at the YMCA program for cancer survivors.
