Blue Waves Swim Team

About the Team

The Blue Waves Swim Team is the West Suburban YMCA's competitive swim team for children and teens ages 6-17. We welcome swimmers of all levels - from the novice swimmer to the national caliber athlete - and our team embodies the YMCA's core values of honesty, caring, respect and responsibility.

• All NEW swimmers must have the swimming ability of YMCA Stage 6 in order to participate in try-outs.

• All NEW swimmers looking to join the team are required to try-out and must pre-register for a try-out session. Tryouts are held twice per year. For more information regarding tryouts and general inquiries, please email bluewaves@wsymca.org.

• A current and active WSYMCA membership is required per YMCA Swimming to participate on the Blue Waves Swim Team.
