Private Music Lessons

The music studio at the West Suburban YMCA offers private lessons and programs for all ages and abilities all year long!

Our private music lessons are customized to each student’s ability, style, and musical interest. The instructor and student determine work together to set immediate- and long-term goals while navigating through music on their chosen instrument(s). We offer lessons in the following areas:

  • Private Music Lessons - Learn a new instrument or improve your skills on an old instrument with one-on-one instruction from a qualified musical professional!
    • Lessons available for bass guitar, drums, guitar (acoustic & electric), trumpet, ukulele, and voice.
  • Music Production - Learn the latest music and recording technology to create your own music and content. We offer production classes and private lessons.
  • Music Theory -  Learn to read music, discuss musical styles and genres, and analyze chord progressions to become a music pro! Music theory can easily be incorporated into any of the above instruments.
