Camp Frank A. Day

Embracing Traditions, Building the Future

Established in 1916 thanks to a family gift in honor of its namesake, Camp Frank A. Day has become a home away from home and a second family to generations of campers. Lifelong relationships and memories are created on the shores of Lake Quacumquasit, at the Great Council Ring, and in the quiet of night, as campers are lulled to sleep after a full day of fun.

Amidst the crackling of campfires, Color War, plaque races and bugle calls, Camp Day has always been a place where kids can be themselves and make lasting connections and friendships. Children become part of a group at camp, sharing responsibilities and learning teamwork and integrity. When these same kids become counselors, they build the leadership skills that will change the communities in which they live and work.

Now, it’s time for us to invest in the camp’s physical space in order to provide the environment that ensures generations of children become part of the cherished Camp Day family and develop into the character-driven leaders of tomorrow.
