Ensuring a Safe and Healthy Summer

Camp Pikati 2022

In 2021 and 2020, Camp Pikati employed many mitigation strategies and procedures to prevent the potential spread of COVID-19. These mitigation factors included wearing face coverings while indoors or engaged in activities that involved sustained close contact, staggered drop off and pick-up times, operating a closed camp, and maintaining small camper group cohorts. In each of the past 2 summers we were able to safely operate camp with these strategies implemented.

We will work throughout the off-season to plan what operations at Camp Pikati will look like in 2022. We will use guidance from and follow the regulations of state and local boards of health, all the while placing the health and safety of our campers and staff at the forefront. While we don’t yet know exactly what next summer at Pikati will look like, we anticipate that some of the policies above will change while others will remain in place in 2022 as we look to provide the safest and most fun experience for our campers.
